I am one of the fortunate people in my country who, if I add up all the taxes I pay, has had around 70% of my income taken by the state.
For every €100 net that I pay for something, I first had to earn €333.33. €233.33 goes to the state and €100 to the producer, without even taking into account that the producer then pays taxes again.
This is an absolute absurdity, the European Union is an absolute absurdity, and my living conditions get worse every day, and I certainly can't afford many luxuries.
How am I supposed not to hate the state? How am I supposed not to hate democracy?

How can you afford to hold onto sats and not sell them to pay fiat bill eventually?
Hate doesn’t help fixing things.
Just take the orange pill and get out of the Matrix.
🙄⚡️
State-sanctioned theft, courtesy of Klaus Schwab's economic agenda, enforced by puppet politicians.
Good men hate evil. Good men hate democracy.
The cherry on top is what they end up spending that income...
You optimised to late in your life?
Can't you see how all you've become was only possible because you paid your fair share to the robber band?
Y'all know democracy it's what keeps monero alive. I was going to include bitcoin (which also should be kinda a democracy) but it's more of a plutocracy
Stop 'having' income...
;)
hate is a great motivator
Democracy is definitely not perfect but it's the best for now because it's the only system with a built-in delete button for bad leaders. Anarchism lacks the structure to protect human rights at scale and it'll collapse into a 'rule of force' structure. Then we have systems based on 'merit' like epistocracy which just become oligarchies. Inclusion in democracy is our only shield against tyranny.
Sentimentally maybe, but objectively not. Do you want a real and objective tyranny? Try looking into North Korea or Cuba.
Yes, but needs to be under control, else you’d act like a puppet 😉
I feel you, but as Churchill said "Democracy is not perfect but it is the best on the block.
You see what happened to Tibet theocracy, You see the conditions in North Korea's communism and the difference with the South Korea democracy, you see Iran theocracy, you see the Saudis monarchy, you see USA and Russian's oligarchies.
There is nothing better. I was researching where to go away from EU, but the best I got is some poor country's island like Bali, where you only will need your government to issue a passport, but you have to adapt to poverty and food i guess.
Math give is the free speech Internet, now its under attack. Math give us Bitcoin, but unfortunately more people believe Trump's word than the math of Bitcoin. Unfortunately the math can't solve the government problem because the Government is not real. When you look from space ... there are no borders. These are imaginary lines that some people drew on a map and in the case of middle east the even dont care that they split tribes.
You could just leave and stop complaining.
It's true, we pay a lot of taxes and to date not everything works great, but I don't think we live so badly at the end.
Of course you can also fight for your ideals, but you don't seem so brave to me since you believe that everything should be as you want
