The next time I’m certain I dropped my keys (or a single key) into a specific pothole I know of and have a clear plastic bag available I will certainly try!
Until then I’ll just fetch them using my “bobbing for apples” method, which has never failed.

Ah yes, i ever lose my key in a mud pubble i will remember to grab my plastic bag full of clean water i have with me, instead of just grabbing the key out of the puddle based on touch

I would have just not thrown the key in the water in the first place, boom, problem solved!
On a different note, I'm removed from about half of government, only in that case, instead of solving the problem that they created, they would have continued to make it worse 🤣
