We haven't been supporting Samsung devices to begin with. They intentionally perma-kill certain features and hardware functionality when you did unlock and install other OSes.

Do you expect Google to follow?
Seems they will have to for devices sold in the EU. I think it's safe to say that Google would lose a huge amount of Pixel sales if they was to do this all markets.
We don't expect anything. A lot of it is just people misinterpreting the EU and we brung it up already here
