I'm gonna bet they're using Primal and haven't tried other clients. Primal is brutal for setting up wallets (many issues on email confirmation denying request) on client and won't connect to anything else (@Alby is still invite only... speaking of which? got any invites?)
I've used Amethyst for a while now with WoS but also have Speed Wallet and then theres @Fountain. Also playing with FreeFrom. @primal falters on zapping others without being able to connect. Fine for receiving. And they all have strengths and weaknesses. All these hookups show is how early we all are. But it's all getting so disjointed.

That's great but are there any Bitcoin wallets I can use that won't be tied to my identity yet I can still use for online-only transactions? Worried if my wallet is traceable to bank account it's only a few steps into censorship for speech and account freezes.

I think I got it now. Alby looked more techie than I’m usually good for, so I also downloaded Primal on another phone and have the same profile. Do these addresses work for zaps?
hasn’t been working for some time for the noobies without receiving a rejection message and requiring a followup email cofirming identity. and even then, who knows. anyone I tried onboarding with primal gave up before getting that far

Until L2 is dead easy to configure or make available, it's not going to happen for quite a few.

Can you activate your #Primal Wallet by linking it to a third-party wallet app? The same as when you paste your external wallet address for zaps reception.
I feel uncomfortable putting my email and other personal information in the Primal Wallet activation process.

You can zap any npub with npub.cash . Just make sure to let them know about it.
Can a client dedicate a place dry fired zaps go to so I still get the good feels and the zap still goes to somewhere I like to donate to.
