Everyone is on Reta at my work, everyone's wife's, its madness
yea it’s just a miracle fad. i know lots of physicians scrambling to set up sports medicine shops to push it on non athlete retail i understand the impulse of americans to grab the pharma crutch but it doesn’t fix the coward inside us longterm. to me it’s as silly as antidepressants for situational sadness. have ya tried going outside and working out and eating real food? doctor has no incentive to tell you the real fix
everyone should do whatever they want. I’m just tired of guys who can’t run a mile telling me to get on peptides. it’s everywheerre here. also there’s a difference between supplementing if you have the discipline and already very strong base health and reaching for drugs with no base foundation of health
The immediate solution to every problem now a days seems to be medication. Would make sense if natural solutions were recommended first but that doesn't make money.
Ozempic and similar drugs have already had side effects that were not known including stomach paralysis. The reimbursement of these drugs to pharmacies like mine were a major factor to us closing, along with drugs like eliquis and jardiance. Brand name drug reimbursement suck. And the patent system that allows drug manufacturers to extent brand only availability of their most popular, and expensive drugs. It's a fucking racket.. Rant over.
i'dnt necessarily throw all peptides in the same bucket as glp antagonists, a lot of them are naturally occurring in our body and can help people with specific medical conditions get to a better baseline obviously taking glp-1 and bunch of experimental peptides to counter your junk food addiction and other bad habits is not the way, but as usually theres a bit more nuance to it than a typical influencers post can get across

If you can find a practitioner that's into this kind of thing and knows what they're doing, I would recommend the Wolverine Stack... The Wolverine Stack is a specialized peptide therapy that combines two peptides: BPC-157 and TB-500. This therapy is designed to enhance healing, reduce inflammation, and improve recovery from injuries and surgeries. And it's not very expensive. I recommend doing your own research though.
