My interest in Nostr has lost its spark. I think Iβm done being curious about it.
I donβt know if itβs because I have a growing family I want to dedicate 100% of all that I have on them or Nostr and the internet in general have never really added any lasting value to my lifeβ¦ unless of course if itβs necessary for work.
This is my personal call to retreat from the digital life and live fully offline in the real. Iβve always known this time was coming and I believe that time has come.
Iβll drop by once in a while to see how some of you are doing. Iβll leave my Signal down people if you want to say hi. The people do make the place and there are people here I do cherish. You know who you are. β₯οΈ
Be well and Godspeed!

A shame for me because I so enjoy the tidbits of your life that you share, but I 100% understand and agree that itβs a positive change to go offline, especially when you are starting a family. Your absence will be noticed π«
Understandable, I've felt the same from time to time lately. Family & IRL things are far more important. π€ππ
Stay healthy and happy!
Same tbh
Totally agree with your decision. Unless you're posting for sats, its not worth it.
God speed!
Staying offline and away from screen is still the king
I've been feeling the same Sister, I left for a year and came back a couple of months ago to get some mining advice. Little to no interaction. π¬π₯π«‘
Try simpleX
And lastly, more importantly.. I am deeply grateful to all of you for your precious time, attention, and sats! Iβve enjoyed every moment of it. β€οΈβπ₯

All the best! π
I relate to this post since I had my baby girl earlier this year. I'm doing my best to spend less time in the virtual world. Best wishes to you and your family. If you ever need to hear a 'GM', you know where to come back to!
I thought I was the only sape feeling this way! It feels amazing to live fully, wholly and holy in thee Lord's presence! β€ππΌππΌβοΈ

Agreed that means of communication has to stay alive to keep the conversation going. But I don't think nostr will survive AI onslaught of misinformation.
Respectfully disagree. A non-algorithm driven platform with some level of discernment and shared values in its users is the best defense against AI misinfo and bots/sockpuppet accounts
Thereβs a lot of bots in nostr. Actually itβs almost impossible to remove spam given the structure of nostr being truly decentralized. Itβs his Achilles heel.
The WoT settings has cleaned up pretty much any spam I used to see. As for spotting bots that's up to each person to use some intuition
Anything that is as useful (and threatening to the powers that shouldn't be) is going to be attacked with spam and bots.
Its a dance that's ever evolving, but where there's a will there's a way when it comes to decentralized free communication
With nostr you can share your npub with another person privately. This is important but not well understood when people are encouraged to create accounts for everything.

Hope to see you again someday.
enjoy RL, keep your nsec safe π
I really enjoyed your posts. Be well. π¦
doing social media once in while good for health rather sticking eyes to smartphone screen 9 hrs/day
Fully understandable.
I don't like signal. See you next time you'll be online sometime in the future.
Till then best wishes to you and family
We'll miss you and your photos π₯Ή
