looks like she ended the session an hour ago, buttercup ran the room for 4 hrs today
I have a question: Which browser is the most efficient to use Hivetalk? Brave, Duckduck, Safari, or any other you suggest? I've had some issues, with microphone going on and off from other participants... Thanks and hope to join you soon in a room :)
The best two are Chrome and Firefox, especially Chrome since it has more features on the screenshare side and on desktop. Right now I can't make any guarantees about Brave, some have said it works others said it doesn't. Your operating system also matters, desktop or mobile, and if you can give highly specific details "on whose mic and on in what situation" exactly, then we can be of better assistance or just tell @ButtercupRoberts when you're in a testing room.
Ok, Thats great advice. Iโ€™ll do some tests soon. Iโ€™ve been using descriptive only on a browser with Firefoxโ€ฆbut not Firefox directly. The issues happens on a Mac. Not the newest but also not too old eitherโ€ฆ only three persons in the room. Mic went off and onโ€ฆ Weโ€™ll make some tests these days too and let you know how it goes. We really appreciate Hivetalk a lot! Thoughts: might it also be that some in the room are using desktop and others on a phone? Or could it be a relay instability?
It means that it is a permissioned tool. It won't let you run ad blockers and of course siphons off data to Google. Much better to use one of its forks if you need to.
if its iOS mic i've heard some issues but we haven't been able to reproduce it. it might depend on your iOS settings. cc: @ButtercupRoberts might be have some insight. i doubt its a relay issue, unrelated
