We can't fix all the broken things Nostr is trying to fix while at the same time being afraid of offending some misguided prejudices of so-called "normies" (who are never actually called into the debate themselves, by the way -- and of course they can't be, since at the time they get to the point where they can have an opinion they're by definition not "normies" anymore).

Very true. I would even go as wide and see it as a bad behaviour to talk bad about people who do not participate in a conversation. I would be happy more people have the curage to openly critique people directly. In a best case directly coming up with better ideas instead on only pointing out the wrong. But most importantly, communicate to the person of question.

we don’t need more normies. we need more ride or dies. all the great nations were built by a very small fraction of the general population. the rest are just sort of along for the ride
Stepping outside of Mediocristan by definition pretty much means that one is no longer a 'normie'.
