“Bitcoin culture” will disappear as its use becomes commonplace. Bitcoin isn’t a lifestyle, a club, or a code of ethics. It is open source software anyone can use. Enjoy the niche times, they won’t last.

I disagree Yes we are early But it definitely is culture It brings together meetups Nostr events I met my best friend irl through Nostr We are on the right side of history and it’s bringing together like minded individuals I wholeheartedly disagree with your entire note here
The 757 bitcoin club is a culture that won’t disappear…. Bitcoin is a lifestyle Tons of clubs that will never fade out They may evolve into privacy groups or freedom groups or a nostr code of ethics lol

It can perfectly be both, just than majority of people won’t care much for the culture and that’s fine as long as they find value on the asset and/or BTC as money
I host one lol I never plan on quitting lol Just haven’t done a new episode in a while Life’s been crazy

That's what I think should happen. Bitcoin should be as much of an afterthought as using apple pay to get your coffee. That's how you know it is mainstream. NOSTR will also have to shift, until it feels like a peaceful version of X (without the algos or censorship) where you can also send Bitcoin Lightning to people.

When Bitcoin becomes ordinary, that’s how we’ll know it won.
