Just look up what's he's done to the Hawaiian island of Lanai after he bought 98% of the island.. Basically he's running it all like an old company town (think terrible coal mining companies back in the day) where he owns everything and the workers are like indentured servants. If they stop working for him they're immediately evicted. Pretty much every small business is gone and replaced with something he owns. Its a good study to understand how these people operate and see the world

He's speaking about creating extinction level problems. The whole point is that our systems are imperfect. Up until now when system level problems arise, outliers have the space to slip between the cracks and correct then rebuild. This is an attack on humanities anti-fragility. Similar to building many enormous dams that hold back the collective conflicts which otherwise would have been resolved at the source through freedom of speech. Instead the conflicts are stored building pressure until eventually the all the dams break.
