Our @Mysterious Hamster wallet is still FROZEN. Although we have full trust that our sats will be unlocked, it's a great reminder to move your sats on-chain. A good threshold is any amount you'd be pissed about losing. But most people (including us) skip that step.

Never had a single problem with the wallet of Satoshi people since I started nostr. It's not even a thought. It's not custodial, but I only ever keep $10 worth of SATs in the wallet. I personally don't think you need to go through the rigmarole of self custody for such a small amount of satoshi's.
