Holy shit! I had one (TIA) in October 2021. Happy to chat about my experience if it can help on any level. You are in my thoughts! πŸ«‚

I will pray for you πŸ™ hope you make a steadfast recovery
Definitely. The fall caused a dissection in my vestibular artery, and that caused first a stenosis, then a bit of scab from inside the vein broke off and blocked the artery. Some part of my brain stem died and I can't walk, but I'm working on relearning it now. I'm told I'm in the best hospital in Texas, and I believe it.
I just turned 40. It's not as bad as it could've been. One doctor said every other patient he's seen with this was paralyzed. I can't walk - the part of the brain that controls walking died, and I find this strangely fascinating - but I'll relearn it. I'm counting this as another miracle.

Sending prayers for complete and rapid healing from northern AB Canada. πŸ™πŸ½β€οΈ
I think it will be. They're sending me there tomorrow, and I've been working on relearning how to walk already. I'm aiming for using a cane with a fly trapped in amber on it.
