It is much better to decide to be silent than to be on corporate controlled platforms where we are so often silenced.
Damn, I'm so touched! If you look at the likes and zap accounts in this post, many of them haven't posted for a long time. But they are reading, liking, forwarding, zap using Nostr, they like Nostr. Support Nostr in their own way. This is the most solid foundation for Nostr's success. #Onlylikes πŸͺ½πŸ’œπŸͺ½ image

"A wise man speaks because he has something to say, a fool, because he has to say something."
Everyone has their own way of supporting. When you are fighting, a group of angry fighters with weapons standing behind you is the greatest support. Although they don't shout, their actions speak louder than anything. Snipers and missile launches on the battlefield do not need to shout.
The fighters are there weapon in hand standing ready to fight. The sniper has already shot someone from a location unknown. The missile launcher has launched a weapon that struck a target. The platform is one of notes, conversations, speech, videos, art, music, content. The weapon on this battle field is free speech, staying silent does nothing.
Speaking less does not mean being silent. Freedom of speech does not require everyone to speak all the time. Freedom of speech means that no one can stop you from speaking when you want to. This is the true value of nostr. As long as they join and use nostr, they are the biggest supporters of nostr. If you observe carefully, you will find these users who rarely post. Many of them are snipers and missile launchers πŸš€. In any case, nostr is growing πŸ€™
Like is an event on Nostr. Kind 7 event to be precise. If measuring latest activity those should be automatically included. If you like, or zap, or boost you are an active user.
I comment occasionally because there are almost always details and the devil is in the details. I am also thankful when I discover I'm wrong about something
99% lurkers. Always.

Guilty of reading 95+% of the time. To be able to be exposed to free minds and ideas is truly remarkable. If I have something specific to say, I’ll post. Otherwise, I enjoy signal rather than noise. Quality post, Sir 🫑 #nostr
Sometimes people want to support each other without exception. Like fan of a popular singer or actor. They just show their favourites with supporting πŸ«‚πŸ’œ
You are still an active creator. πŸ˜‰ I see a lot of people who like this who haven't posted in a year. They read. image
Amazing! You are definitely. You only posted once in a year, but you are an active user. This time I really saw that many of the accounts that commented and liked this post were silently following nostr. Lurking ninja πŸ₯· is full of undercurrent power. 🫑
Yes, at that time, many users felt there couldn't be 30K WAU because they didn't notice that many posts. Many users were just reading and liking posts. May I ask, do users who only log in to read without reposting, liking, zapping, or commenting, but only reading, count towards the 30K WAU?
