i’m with you jimmy. if it’s on 4/21 our new theme song could be “one toke over the line.” but then we got 4 years of that mess to deal with.

Reasoning:
4/20 feels very left-libertarian to me. That is, the people that are more concerned with having access to all kinds of drugs and abortion-on-demand than sound money, property rights and freedom of assembly.
4/19 is, for me, the way better date. That's the day that the American Revolution started (Battle of Lexington and Concord in 1775). That's a much better meme than "OMG weed day!"

I only want it on 4/20 because it's a Saturday, and my meetup always meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month anyway, so our next meetup can double as a halving party.
If not for that, any other day would do. The 19th would be fine for the reason you mentioned, or the 21st because it's a 21.
Ultimately it doesn't matter. But I'm for it because it's funny & memes spread awareness. Also the left is the crowd that needs to find bitcoin the most. I mean Peter Mccormack posted that gov't is the global problem today. There is no way of better reversing statist insanity than them finding bitcoin IMO.
