Been burning ridiculous amounts of wood (trees and trees and trees) since 2018 at hunting camp in a 3’ diameter fire ring. It might of risen 6”. It is wild how much the ash compacts. Lots of beverages at that pit!

Eco-friendly but not really practical for a regular house usage. It’s designed for cabins and holiday homes, common in Norway.

Summer house has one, and it works great. Some once a season maintenance required but otherwise a good option if you have electricity but no sewage hookup. Don't run out of the paper liners though...
