He’s said on Peter McCormack that a way to break the banks is “don’t pay your mortgage” But individuals who don’t suffer grave consequences so obviously this would need to be a mass movement to work. I’d love to know if he has thoughts about how and where such a thing could realistically happen.
🙌🏻
Why did he pretend to support people who got robbed by Celsius and then help Celsius finish the robbery and get away with it?
Will my refund end up being in money or blood?
Hey Efrat - can you ask him how he manages to stay grounded and maintains good mental health given everything he knows and researches.
His work has been so eye opening (and liberating in ways), but also given a decent dose of existential angst too. Is it something we need to get to the other side of, and relearn what it fundamentally means to focus on ourselves and our community?
Why would a deep state glowie crypto theif have good mental health?
*thief
When he tried to start a bank, what commercial motives did he have for this? He must have known the system by then and was trying to join it knowing full well the exploitation that goes on, and the back room dealing. If he was trying to join them, how much of this all could be of spite that he just wasn’t allowed in the club?
Does he regret being an early investor in companies that turned out to be really shady, eg. Cornbase?
What, in his opinion, caused those companies to enshittify?
Has he thought about Jeff Booths comments to him recently when on a Podcast together regarding his understanding of what is already happening in Bitcoin. In that sense is he more hopeful?
who is at the top of the current world control scheme?
Please ask, if in the UK, what is the most ethical way to invest your SIPP instead of treasury companies which seems to be the norm for many Bitcoiners 🙏
What are 3 things people can do to resist the ‘complexes’?
If Bitcoin were to become systemically important & governments moved from tolerance to active containment, what would be his realistic endgame strategy for protecting individual sovereignty?
Ooh that’s a spicy 🥵 one!
can the people beat the system by adopting bitcoin?
Send this to him beforehand so he can think and analyse it. This is what’s happening these days and let’s hear his thoughts about it. 😉

And this👇 is for you as we don’t think Simon would touch this topic. Too hot… 🥵

What is the one thing that makes you happy?
Love it.
Don’t know if it’s hot or it’s just one prediction with low probability… thx for sharing.
Thanks. I won’t. It’s in a few hours.
I don’t really need help structuring all my questions, I’m good on that front. I’m just being generous in opening the floor for a few more if I can cram it in.
Is that your pensions?
My take is take it all out and put in bitcoin in self custody.
He answered that many times. He doesn’t think there’s a cabal
No he didn’t know it by then. He still believed he could change it from within. That’s why politics. That’s why bank. He said it in other interviews.
It’s not a prediction and it’s not a low probability.
It’s actually happening ‼️
DNS “attacks” amplified in the last several months and for those familiar with the BTC source code and how its nodes communicate to each other, it’s not hard to understand the real issue here.
Just a short summary 👇
DNS Hijacking: Recent attacks have targeted high-profile organizations by exploiting misconfigured DNS records. In 2025, the threat actor Hazy Hawk hijacked abandoned cloud resources—such as Amazon S3 buckets and Microsoft Azure endpoints—by manipulating DNS records to redirect traffic to malicious sites for malware delivery. This included subdomains of the U.S. CDC and major corporations like Deloitte and PwC.
EdgeStepper Implant: A China-aligned group, PlushDaemon, has used a Go-based backdoor called EdgeStepper to reroute DNS queries to attacker-controlled nodes, enabling adversary-in-the-middle (AitM) attacks. This allows the attackers to intercept and redirect software update traffic, delivering malware to victims.
DNS Tunneling: Attackers continue to leverage DNS tunneling for covert C2 communication. The SUNBURST backdoor in the SolarWinds supply chain compromise used DNS tunneling to exfiltrate data and receive instructions, demonstrating its effectiveness in evading detection.
DNS Amplification DDoS: Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks using DNS amplification remain prevalent. These attacks exploit open DNS resolvers with spoofed source IPs to flood targets with massive response traffic. In Q1 2024 alone, 1.5 million DNS DDoS attacks were recorded, with attacks expected to double from 2017 levels.
Who are "they"? Ask him to be explicit about how he thinks people like Elon get controlled - does he get approached by a handler for the Rothschild's?
What does he think of the run up in Gold and Silver this year? What does it mean?
thx for the further elaboration. we'll see if i have time for it.
who is that?
another pimp hole banker in pedocoin space
Is the Isle on Man really a safe place?
until king of england gets broke n seizes it
Hope to hear his answer 🎸🎸🎸
What is the best strategy f
Best strategy for those who just retired on Bitcoin and need to use it to live. IMHO using Bitcoin as collateral for a loan, staking etc is yet another ploy to capture my stack. What does Simon suggest?
My question is - then what?
If I have all my pension/ savings in Bitcoin self custody- what is the most efficient way to live off my stack now I’m retired?
I'm not into scams, I need nostr apps to support edits more across the ecosystem
ask if they think the protocol is the art or just the frame. i'm curious if we're building a monument to stability or a sandbox for beautiful accidents.
@npub1mene...mws3 use it as p2p electronic cash to pay for stuff in your community
Yes, pensions. And no, not all pensions allow you to cash out. Obviously I would cash out and put it all into spot Bitcoin in self custody. So because it's locked in I'd like to know what can I put it into that will a) protect what I have left from debasement and b) not fuck others over as much as possible.
I'm not relying on my tiny pension as I believe the fiat system will implode before I reach the age I can draw it down but just in case it's still spluttering along it would be good to know.
Thanks Efrat! Ps glad you got back into your substack 🙏
Will get speak at
@npub1r9zw...q8lx in November?
No
Anyway, just noticed the above note was already sent to him as he was tagged in your initial message.
We’ll see if he would ever touch the subject, even if it’s not on this occasion.
For us is clear that this is exactly how BTC (and other crypto) markets are being used right now.
Wish you all the best for your interview.
Simon says that there are different groups fighting for power. Chamat Palihapitiya says that:
“There is about a 150 people who run the world. Everybody who wants to go to politics, they are all fucking puppets. There are 150, and they are all men, that run the world. Period. Full stop. They control most of the important assets. They control the money flows. And these are not the tech entrepreneurs. (--) And when you get behind the curtain and see how that world works, what you realize is that it's unfairly set up for them and their progeny.”
What is Chamath getting wrong? Here is the clip about Chamath saying the above-mentioned quote.
How can somebody that doesn't run his own bitcoin node survive another bitcoin fork?
The world is often ruled by shadowy powers bent on the flow of money as you probably know better than anyone else. But instead of being consumed by the current struggle, why not turn our gaze to the horizon? The only escape lies in inhabiting the future through the creation of practical solutions. In building the world we want, we find not just answers, but inner peace and spiritual growth.
Agree although not financial advice.
I want to add that I think that Chamath is right. I do not think that there are different groups fighting for power. I think that these 150 people are the one world government, and that the plan is to use AI, tech and robotics to enslave the rest of us. And that is why Bitcoin, Nostr, and privacy & freedom tech is the solution.
What insights did you uncover after your discussion with
@npub1s05p...eyhe? How has that impacted your worldview and your focus in spreading the message of bitcoin adoption? What is your core message, now, to the world?
It’s done… I’m sorry, we didn’t have time to go through most of this, but the good news is we’ll do another part and I’ll try to get more questions in.

You asked this when we were already recording but he did touch on his soul’s and life purpose and some spiritual takes. Super interesting.
We touched on it a bit. You wrote after we started recording.
No problem, I look forward anyway to listening to the podcast when it comes out.
Thx for sharing. You wrote after we already started recording. We did touch on his view of the power structures running the world.
Ask him about who he thinks controls the Epstein files release and redactions and what the goals of these ‘releases’ are. Are there any money flows that hint at the correct answer?
when Lambo? oh wrong cycle 😕
The old rule of thumb for retirees with some decent stock market exposure was to spend no more than 4% of your funds each year, and the gain in value would keep you from going bust. Bitcoin should (I think anyway) outperform stocks if you hold long-term, but those drawdowns (and accompanying reductions in your spending) could be brutal for some, in some years. This kind of thing is always an inexact science and doesn't always work 100%, of course.
Let’s make it happen! 😎
Enjoy
