I shook my local farmer’s hand and got a ton raw milk and 10 kg (~22 lbs) of meat and bones for $150.
Only downside is I have go drive total of 60 km there and back.

But raw milk is dangerous, and meat is the corpses of killed animals — it shouldn’t be eaten.
Better drink some soy milk and eat hummus with bugs.

No, it’s 20 min ride to get home, so only passive cooling with insulated bag.
It was an impulsive buy, next time I’m coming with a travel refridgerator for sure.
Yes, I was proud for a moment that our fridge was only beef tallow, raw milk, butter, eggs and meat.
Then my wife came and got some not-so-healthy things in there, but I think that’s fine.
So far. There are temporary setbacks, and traps I fall into, but I am trying.
