The new wallet will replace the existing custodial Primal wallet. Primal 3.0 supports both wallet types, but we will be sunsetting the custodial wallet service on April 30, 2026. We made wallet migration in Primal 3.0 extremely easy: one click transfers your balance and transaction history to the new spark-based wallet. You keep your existing Primal lightning address. The new wallet is a strict improvement for our users: no KYC, no limits, and available in all regions. It’s interoperable with other spark-based wallets: so you can use the same seed phrase in Primal, Wallet of Satoshi, Cake Wallet, and others. Stay tuned for more details next week… image

Alright, cool. My only concern is that the company behind Spark is a very big advocate for stable coins and CBDC, I appreciate that it will be non KYC though.
Will this fix zaps to custom LNURL’s? People tell me all the time that they can’t zap me, but it’s only people from primal that seem to have the issue
"Interesting shift—non-custodial wallets are definitely the future, but forced migrations always risk leaving non-tech users behind. Reminds me of how Taiwan layered defenses (missiles, asymmetric warfare) only work if the whole population is onboard, not just early adopters. That article breaks it down well: https://theboard.world/articles/taiwans-anti-ship-missile-wall-how-the-island-became-asias" *(276 chars, URL excluded)*
