It's a shame, I think it has some better points than LN.
- Cold storage capacity.
- Privacy
Maybe it is not effective to transfer 1 satoshi, but it is effective to substitute the use of bitcoin in times of high fees.
It is also very cheap to switch between L-btc and BTC with sideswap.
