Honestly, I don't think these types of twitter like apps are what the normies even want. Even the people on X are cultural or political types. Normies are on things like facebook and Instagram. I think censoring wisp like that defeats the point of nostr without actually building the Normie app you are hoping for. The real Normie app is going to be a shorts scroller with webxdc games, music, and messaging and might not even have a kind 1 feed at all, IMO.

100% Since I got here I've been asking for a Facebook styled client or a tiktok styled client because nobody fucking wants another twitter clone. In real life I know at least a thousand people on Facebook, 2 on twitter. Hundreds on tiktok. The ones on twitter, they're not interested in nostr, they already heard about it before I told them. The rest, they aren't interested in a decentralised Twitter clone, but almost everyone of them wants something to replace Facebook / Instagram / Tiktok And their complaints almost always come down to the algorithms and advertising getting worse on those platforms.
Divine is the closest thing we have to Twitter, but 6 seconds is way too short. YouTube shorts go up to 3 minutes long. That's enough for a full song or a bunch of skate tricks or even for very short educational segments (e.g.: math trick in under a minute)
