One big thing to make it feel less cheap & vibe coded is 1 don't use the Cyberpunk neon as that just screams ai. 2 get it to actually create its own icons instead of using emojis. There are emojis in settings mostly even a few on the themes so thats what im talking about. I still think even if its an option its better to have boring ones as the default, then any none boring people may customize it to the exciting ones.

Ill give a case this week of why that is not a good idea. There was a scammer on here posing as a girl, it had some suspicious hallmarks so people challenged the account to post a picture with a shoe on her head. The picture that was posted had a gemini watermark hidden, which I could then warn people about and point out. The scammer edited the post with a watermark remover and called me crazy. But, since we could just repost the original screenshots it was ineffective and people were warned against the scam. If that scammer had the power (s)he'd have deleted all the comments pointing it out, and have kept zap farming people who didn't know. And that is just one case, you can launch entire bot armies all promoting certain talking points and boosting. With automated removal of anyone's dissenting comments to push a narrative, nobody would be able to properly call it out in the comments. I think that kind of scenario is very harmful to the discussion. Can be easily prevented by allowing a user to see the comments that the OP wanted to hide if they choose to, just like you already do for your spam detected comments. Then you do get the initial friendly clean comment section, but if someone abuses the system it would be very obvious and they will be called out on it.

I built a better one inside the PosterChan Android app. Basically, signers use shitty relays that get rate-limited heavily by default and that breaks your user experience. The PosterChan signer in Settings, is more intelligent and adapts to the app you are connecting to
