I've talked to Antoine in private, it was very productive. Not getting in details, but I think the bridges are being built, the interest in listening to users is there, and hopefully we can all do better. Time to lower the temperature, everyone have different preferences with a shared rigid system. Let's all walk on grass a bit 🤙

I know I usually keeps a positive outlook on things, but don't set your hopes too high on this one. As you says yourself, he's not exactly known for the constructive kind of responses.

"hopefully we can all do better." Lolz. A team of hubristic programmers launched an all out attack on Bitcoin in the face of open resistance, and essentially told everyone, "You don't know what you're talking about." Core needs to get on their knees and repent.

He may not want to make Bitcoin into ethereum but not apologizing for funding retarded and/or commie core devs would be big question mark on his motives. Nobody is asking him to do funding job for free. He can charge money for it but at least he should stop funding these retarded devs who are intentionally and/or mistakenly enabling more spamming on bitcoin timechain.
