“People have different interpretations of scripture. Respectful discussion is always welcome. ”
💯 opinions don't matter; Scripture does. all ppl have to do is read the Bible--like 1 Timothy
Exactly. Just had this convo today where a friends church has started having women preach occasionally.
That means your church doesn’t take the Bible seriously.
*woman
sadly, many ppl who call themselves "Christians" don't. being a Berean (Acts 17) will guard us from error--including from theological, Zionist promoting, end-times error 🎯
Yeah but is the anti Zionist movement also overzealous?
just make sure you read Scripture without a man-made theological lens. many can't read Scripture without it
They aren't, what do you mean
Totally agree.
The Word is the authority.
A friend’s Presbyterian church has started having women preach

Probably PCA? Not Reformed
ECO
That means they also don’t take God seriously. Period. Thats not a church then. Christians don’t even know what the marks of a true church are anymore. Sad.
💯
yes, very sad. it's very difficult nowadays here in the US to find a non-dispensationalist, true, humble, Bible believing church ⛪️
Non dispensationalism isn’t a deal breaker it’s quite confusing to know where I fit in all of that actually
don't worry about it for now. just keep reading your Bible and believe every single word Jesus says. Staying in His Word will allow you to discern error. He is the Good Shepherd (Psalm 23) and will keep you safe.
I will say, the in fighting among Christians about Israel is a problem.
The anti zionists movement is over the top, and the Christian’s who “stand with Israel” and treat Jews like better people than Muslims are wrong.
don't be overwhelmed. just remember: God does not have two people, but ONE--the Bride, the Church of Jesus Christ 🎯
It's pretty clear in scripture they shouldn't.
This wasn’t even controversial on nostr.
Must be in the right place.

NGMI. IYKYK.
LOL (since we're sticking with acronyms)
The Theotokos never preached and was veiled.
I don’t know what that means
Oh you’re talking about Mary?
Luke 11:27-28
As [Jesus] said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
