i was once a shitcoiner myself. probably many of us were at some point. i used to love evm (back when i was not running my own node). i was blinded by magic of smart contracts and things you can do with them. but just calling something decentralized doesn't make it decentralized. i used to write smart contracts, did some "dynamic nfts" changing randomly based on last block data. also was working on a social media hosting posts on multiple evm chains. tried libs like SSTORE2 which tries to store data cheaper on evm chains by storing them as fake contracts. taking advantage of the discount. i also had an ens name, or names. played with lots of evm toys, gambled with evm games. got into debates how evm is better than bitcoin, and how bitcoin smart contracts suck. used to dislike maxi content, and matthew krater videos, leave dumb comments on his videos, go excited for taproot. all the reason evm was "magical" was the "common protocol", "it's decentralized", but its not decentralized at all. that's why it can handle that much junk. if its not decentralized its not magical anymore, its a scam. we were all dumb at some point. but you learn. nothing lives on the ether. things run somewhere. and its either you are running it or someone else. there is no reason for everything to be on the bitcoin chain. there is no reason for your git repo to live on youtube, there is no reason for your video content to be hosted on github, or npm registery. bitcoin is bitcoin. anything else abusing the bitcoin network for things other than bitcoin are just parasites, or parasite protocols. bitcoin is bitcoin. simple.

@YakiHonne idk if its a me issue but on android my relay list has been keep resetting to the 4 default relays in the app. (i have to goto other clients and broadcast them there) if i try to add my normal relays to the list it gives an error and says its already in the list. but they dont appear on the list, and when i post stuff they only get broadcasted to those 4 default relays.

btw my name has "nomad" prefix because of lineage and culturer reasons, not because im a "digital nomad". and its "shiba" because shibas are cool. comes from my old ancient steam name with the suffix "doge"

bitcoin nodes need mechanisms to punish miners in favor of better miners, pushing the line. without causing permanent chain splits. View quoted note →

EVERYTHING @npub17u5d...t4tp and @npub1ej49...ndrm clowns say says can be shut down with these two facts: - inscriptions happened because core removed script size limit policy for taproot. - and 99% of OP_RETURN TXs were under ~80 bytes because of the policy. nothing else needs to be said.

There are MBs of sub 1 sat/vB consolidation TXs waiting to be processed. but miners prefer including parasite protocol TXs using Bitcoin as blob data storage. image in the image all of the sub 1 sat/vB TXs are consolidation only. image is from:
