@yumyume is a Nostr based social bookmarking tool, just got a flavorful update with performance optimizations. This release named “Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream on Blini & Lemon Zest Refinement” features a lighter logo, smarter relay handling that disconnects inactive tabs to save resources, and a faster data-fetching system using a custom Vanilla JS implementation for real-time updates. The concept is from
@Jurjen de Vries.
Additionally, Yumyume is preparing to migrate to NIP-01 and kind 39700, following its integration into Pinja (
https://www.pinja.in/) by
@Sep. Interestingly, both teams began working on social bookmarking around the same time, offering users multiple Nostr-based bookmarking clients to choose from.
Important: This migration will require users to manually transfer their bookmarks. They recommend holding off on adding too many new bookmarks in Yumyume MVP for now. A link to the old client will be provided so early users can copy and paste their bookmarks into the new version. More details will follow soon!
