It’s interesting to see how Fox now has all stories on the Iran conflict siloed into a separate part of the site that has no comment section.

My heart is singing. Finally met a fellow bitcoiner in this crappy little town after years of living here. Cool thing is, I used to be in the same business as he is and we used to cooperate on the odd project more than ten years ago. This past summer I ran into he and his son while they were kayaking. I got chatting with him and he asked me about the bitcoin education logo on my shirt and I planted the seed. Ran into him tonight at the gym months later and he says he’s well off zero and really needs some help with self custody best practices and hardware. Suddenly there were two. 🤙🏾

It always cracks me up when I hear financial analysts use the phrase “if there’s some kind of a major crisis“ when referring to whether or not the government will fire up the money printer in earnest in the next five years. The powers that be have proven over the past 50 years that if there isn’t a major crisis, they will create one for the benefit of the “old boys club” while the getting is good. I don’t think we have anything to worry about when it comes to whether or not bitcoin’s price will get juiced. What do you think? #asknostr

Thanks @ForrestHODL for an awesome guide on this open source file and folder encryption software, Cryptomator. I did a bunch of testing on it because I still have one primary Windows PC, thumb drives and some external HD’s that aren’t entirely encrypted volumes. Any one of them could now be seized or stolen and there isn’t a single shred of useful data that could be accessed. I just keep backup copies of the original files and folders on a separate machine on a fully encrypted volume, so if this software ever had an issue, I’d still have a copy I could recover. And having separate offsite storage media locked down with Cryptomator pretty much eliminates the need to have the files in a Cryptomator vault stored on any cloud service. Though that could be handy for access in the event of flight from the country without the ability to take along your hardware.

It’s hard to believe there’s a bunch of 3’ tall garden beds under here. Think I’ll be planting a little late this year. #alberta #grownostr
