it's not working if you don't see them, you have Damus and primal as your dm relays on my side is that correct?
damn it should just work without you doing anything, but go settings - relays - dm and just lmk which ones you use

the sealed dm will have a randomized date, so make sure your req doesn't have a since
those are the worst u can choose for DM relays. nip17 sends with randomized pubkeys 2 events per message. these relays throttle and reject more than half of these.. you are only allowed 6-10 events per minute on damus for example, when it isn't 503 unavailable that is.
not to mention they dont protect the dms, but nobody seems to care bout that part 😂

you should search NIP66 events for relays that support nip17 and let the users pick from those then..
they do it to everyone. not enough VC money or lack of concern about user experience triggering random OK,blocked: rate limit messages.. one or the other or both or something darker. considering that the total cost of running something that could serve all of nostr is under $100/month it's pretty feeble
