Games, I mean I could probably live without them if I really had to, but I do like playing some AAA games every now and then. And Spotify's Discovery algorithm is pretty sick. I have definitely found handfuls of artists that I like that have turned into album sales and ticket sales for the artists due to their Discovery algorithm.

I’m guessing that lots of people run their own nas, dns, adblocker; not many people run their own vpn; not one human in the world runs their own email server 😂😂😂 maybe FIPS, nostr, auth-blossom-inbox-reply-outbox-pizzazz fixes all that but I don’t think anyone has fully streamlined and idiot-proofed it yet because I’m retarded and don’t get any of it. #stonedthoughts

Unfortunately here in Italy 🇮🇹 99% of people run on closed sourced software. They love their cage. As long they have their beach vacations in August and soccer everyday they love their Italian super comfort zone 😱🔥

I’d probably have to vote No. I like open source and try to use it where I can, but I still depend on some closed source tools in daily life. For me the hardest ones to replace would probably be Windows, some hardware drivers, a few productivity tools and certain services that simply work better in the ecosystems I already use. I could move a lot of my stack to open source, but running my entire digital life that way would still require too many compromises.
