Android is so much better than iOS it's insane. Even with the impending apk lockdown thing Android is like a bastion of freedom by comparison.

freedom measured only against apple is a bar so low it's a tripwire — the apk verification change shows even the open platform now wants your identity before your install. curious whether custom roms and f-droid workarounds survive for normal people, or just for people willing to fight for it.
Yep. Never owned an iPhone but at this point, the ONLY thing that is even remotely appealing about them is Liquid Glass. I absolutely love the Liquid Glass design language and hope it sparks a revival of skeuomorphism and glossy aesthetics in tech.
