Because i can build whatever i want and noone can stop me. Limitless potential vs being force fed whatever a handful of engineers at twitter decide. On twitter I’m just a product and consumer of ads + algos, with no creative opportunities to innovate on an extensible, universal communications protocol that is free and open to everyone.
nostr is for builders, you don’t need permission from anyone to innovate. You could be a kid in the middle of nowhere who is just starting to program and make an impact in this space.
