A group called Portland Anarchist Road Care has started a collective road maintenance effort to, in their words, undermine the propaganda of the State that anarchists are broody coffeshop wankers who like bombs, and directly answer the adage, “who will fix the roads?”
A Canadian man who damaged his vehicle on a large pothole, bought supplies, and went around repairing the potholes in his area. The people were so appreciative, they returned value for value by offering him cash, food items, weed, and booze. When asked for comment, the man responded, “I fixed the potholes. Pay me, not your taxes”

Wise man. Anarchism isn’t “without rules” but “voluntary interactions, without coercion”.

Wicked! The true spirit and way of being anarchic...

We need this by in Soviet Victoria!
Vic roads are so cooked. He’d want to kill himself afterwards rather than keep helping people.
🤣
"Who will fix the roads" just got answered with receipts: supplies, potholes, and people paying voluntarily because the value was visible. Curious whether the state's road crew showed up to compete or to claim jurisdiction.

We need government, because who will fix the roads?
