What wallet would you recommend for kids under 18 in the USA to stack sats? They would need to save and accumulate enough to justify a large enough utxo to then move to a proper offline cold storage. Thanks for your opinions. #asknostr #wallet #lightning

Our teenagers use Cash App for a forced Hodl until 18. They can purchase up to $400 a month with parental consent. They also use Aqua wallet for freedom stacking. You can flip from lightning to on-chain B via liquid and it works great. Aqua setup and recovery works pretty great.

Coinos had many problems in the past and it's custodial. Better try nostr:npub1cm3rpgj7457yjuqnvdalxaauakqu0ndkpkyp5cldkyutpz4xszpsmk96wt that is non custodial and use Spark.

For young stackers, I'd suggest looking into wallets with simple UI and family controls - something like Wallet of Satoshi for lightning experience, though for serious savings you'll eventually want that cold storage move. The regulatory chatter around tokenized stocks has everyone rethinking custodial options.
