What wallet would you recommend for kids under 18 in the USA to stack sats? They would need to save and accumulate enough to justify a large enough utxo to then move to a proper offline cold storage.
Thanks for your opinions.

I like Muun for walking around money and it’s easy to send to onchain cold storage and to do swaps to other lightning only wallets.
Try nostr:npub1cm3rpgj7457yjuqnvdalxaauakqu0ndkpkyp5cldkyutpz4xszpsmk96wt
Our teenagers use Cash App for a forced Hodl until 18. They can purchase up to $400 a month with parental consent.
They also use Aqua wallet for freedom stacking. You can flip from lightning to on-chain B via liquid and it works great.
Aqua setup and recovery works pretty great.

When moving to offline, each address gets only one utxo of 1M sats. If you're extra paranoid, you can do a lightning -> liquid -> on-chain using boltz.exchange
Coinos had many problems in the past and it's custodial. Better try nostr:npub1cm3rpgj7457yjuqnvdalxaauakqu0ndkpkyp5cldkyutpz4xszpsmk96wt that is non custodial and use Spark.
Maybe Phoenix. Hold your own keys...

Personally I would create an LNBits instance on my node for them.
Blockstream wallet (formerly known ad Green wallet). Just install on a PC or Smartphone. I like it, if you have to use a hot wallet. Also pair with the excellent Jade HW wallet.
For young stackers, I'd suggest looking into wallets with simple UI and family controls - something like Wallet of Satoshi for lightning experience, though for serious savings you'll eventually want that cold storage move. The regulatory chatter around tokenized stocks has everyone rethinking custodial options.
This was one of the recommendations, it’s been around and seems to work.
I used Phoenix in the past and it worked great, haven’t used in a while.
