I wonder when we will arrive at the pay for running storage scenario? In other words you mine Bitcoin by having storage for others to connect to. If you get paid for running storage you are incentivized to encourage others and this is decentralized. Like mempool but worse.

There is "filecoin" and "chia" which allegedly do that storage renting stuff. Doesn't really seem to work.
and "storj" was another one In theory a great idea, they just all have shitcoins attached to them... IPFS + lightning would be cool imo
Say a vulnerability was merged 1 year ago and it was ACK'd by someone who has since had their PGP compromised. How would you know the ACK was signed ahead of the merge rather than after the key compromise?

one would think that would have been done by now after 3 years and millions of funding

pepperidge farm remembers when the bounty for this was opened by @jack years ago!
Devs, listen up. I might have an idea y'all can pull off: Take the source code to Forjego, fork it, and set it up for Nostr integration with the necessary NIPs in order to pull this off.

Matt, GitHub is not good enough! We must make something better on Nostr! I’ve lost so much of my life to GitHub shenanigans.

That's where Nostr integration could help. Tie instances with your Npub.
when we have a distributed repository of optional code patches, there will be a Cambrian explosion of implementations... node runners will select what to run. we will have a new form of consensus, not a protocol change, but of software compilation
this link is not easy to follow from amethyst.. I get trapped in primal's browser app still.. nice bounty
