Stablecoins upgrade the financial infrastructure that Cash App is already built on. They get people comfortable moving money on internet-native rails. And once people are on open rails, bitcoin is a step away. It’s a win-win for customers, and for bitcoin.

Neat. What would *really* be cool is if normies on cashapp could receive a BTC lightning payment directly into their dollar balance in the same way that a Square merchant can... Cashapp normies can already send BTC lightning directly from their dollar balance - so the reverse would just be the obvious complement.
