Over 500 views on a new channel from some unknown who only uses nostr for social. Wow.. We might have something in this movement.. Thanks for the support. I really didn't think more than 10 people would watch. What a trip

You shared a link to your YouTube video. I think Tauri is asking why you didn't share the video on Nostr via something like a Nostr blossom server. You could host a blossom server yourself, using Start9 or Umbrel, or use a public blossom service like Nostr.build.

Can I do that with a pi4? I have one that has been kind of unreliable as a node lately so I moved the node to my laptop. Actually I have shitty Internet out here. Wouldn't I need bandwidth. I do have a nostr build account set up I think. 🤔

Woah. That's hardcore. I didn't think the YouTube algo would accept me ever.
The Pi4 can only handle so much traffic, and yes you need a high speed, high bandwidth to stream videos. I run an old 2 core / 4 thread mini computer for my Jellyfin server, and we watch 4 movies at once with no issues, but we also have high speed unlimited internet. Of you keep the videos in h264 format with acc audio, you server doesn't need to transcode on the fly, so it would take a lot of processing power, just bandwidth.

I am using a jellyfin server as well on an old laptop. Pretty awesome. The bandwidth will be an issue for serving outside my network
Seerr let's you, your family and friends browse movies Netflix style, and then lets them request them to be downloaded. The 'Aarrs ecosysyem finds the requested movie bittorrent to download, downloads the movie, and then renames the files and moves them to the proper folder on your Jellyfin server, where they show up ready to watch. It's a 6 website setup (including Jellyfin and qBittorrent). The 'Arrs tutorial setup is here: wiki.servarr.com

That's super cool. I would be into it if I had friends and more bandwidth. I am struggling to get my node to sync even. Very rough internet here.
