Now that I think about it there is a non zero chances that the ethereum foundation is and has been sponsoring bitcoin core developers. Like why the fuck would a bitcoin core developer add support for ethereum in their bitcoin products. Pretty sus. View quoted note →

Don't forget this too:

Bitcoin Core devs have been co-opted by unethical bullshit. I'm running knots already on my full node. Consider doing that too. Arbitrary data below 83 bytes is fine by me, though my settings are at 42 to prevent Ordinals. Any more than that and I think you should be paying significantly more bitcoin to get it done. To be clear, ETH and highly demanded tokens on Ethereum. Stablecoins are a huge demand driver. I don't recall writing a blog post about the reasoning because it fits in a single sentence. There was sufficient demand to secure value on the Ethereum network, and providing security services is our core competency.

Awesome. I feel it gives you more choice. Disclaimer: I may or may not be wrong about the PR, I haven't looked any further into it yet than just this video. But optionality is very important for Bitcoin consensus and knots seems to be determined to offer better optionality.

Is this your own opinion or did Vatalik pay you to think like this? Let’s cut to the chase. Has the Eth foundation ever approached you?

I've never talked to the Ethereum Foundation. Last time I talked to Vitalik was around 2020 at MIT Bitcoin Expo. It may be difficult for you to believe, but people pay Casa for our services. 😊

i already see enough previews of retarded videos with raoul pal constantly being posted by my boss and meanwhile the cost of running apps on shitcoin chains inevitably goes up dramatically after all the hype dies down and the dumbass invest00rs are onto the next new hotness i'm not reading that shit on my fucking nostr feed, and that goes for the endless bullshit about "nEcCeSsArY cHaNgEs" to bitcoin protocol newsflash: the changes aren't necessary, all shitcoins are just milking retail with hype, there is no real product because no sane service provider is going to use the least efficient database system for their product, only silly people who are chasing after grants from these endless stream of scams

I love and respect you JLopp but you must remember that prostitutes mostly have their services paid for. Getting paid is not justification for violating values. And what you get paid for often shows others where your values are.
