I have a lot of respect for genuine people.
They might not be perfect, but at least they're not pretending to be.

Agreed. One of my least favorite attributes is an aura of "everything's fine" behind a fake smile. It's very easy to see that things aren't quite right behind the phony presentation. Authentic people are hard to find in today's world of "perfect" selfies.
