I put my name on the list and wait for the "good" spot every time.
The table doesn’t matter. They will be upset at the end of the meal anyways for some reason or the other.
No tables near thoroughfares, no tables in the broom closest out back, no tables near the entrance where you get blasted with cold air every time a new patron enters, no tables near the condiments / drinks station with staff coming in and out.
Mitigate these factors, have 2 x dirty martini’s waiting on the table and you are off to the races! 🎆

Man up and organise a good table at a great restaurant. A little bit of effort goes a long way. Organise the shit out of the night 💪. Call ahead, make sure the night goes smoothly.
