the simple fact that a receiver on lightning cannot easily tell which utxo funded the payment is a massive win deposit via lightning to an exchange? pay a merchant via lightning? the recipient does not know your transaction history chain surveillance neutered 🎯

But like tail emissions and constant forks and all that
Transaction volume is a piece of this story, but not the driving factor. Whirlpool was attacked with less than 8k Bitcoin mixed. We need more nodes. We need more coin pegged in lightning channels. It needs to become the standard. If mixing was a default standard on chain across most wallets SW would not have been attacked. Privacy must stop being a feature that only exists on the fringe.
Now let's properly implement Bolt12! Currently offers without node IDs are not supported by some nodes.
I'd like to see wallets like phoenix have ability for users to add watchtowers/s to their wallets. Surely this would both make it more secure for users and open a market for plebs to sell watchtower services

apart from those who are interested in todays cash back services, I guess burglars who want to know when you are on vacation and tortures who want to know your habits and so on.

LFG!! This was one of my biggest concerns with Bitcoin besides the mining pools. That will get solved hopefully with the bitaxes. If enough people start solo mining ⛏️. #Bitcoin

I haven't followed... What's your stance on the bits vs. sats discussion? Is there a public sharing of yours on that yet? Curious.
