Incredibly brittle bottleneck.
Self host, or distributed host somewhere nearby. Would make the infrastructure much more robust.

Well, it's Not only that everyone is using Amazon and CloudFlare. They're all using the same _instance_ of them. USA East. 🤷🏻♀️
It's the default, when you sign up, and nobody bothers to change it.
Now this is depressing to learn.
