The cruelty of reneging on a promise like that is unthinkable.
He doesn’t have to worry about being elected again. I think he will.
It's hard to picture trump following through on that promise. I will be surprised if he does. I think central stake holders in the financial system will view that as a declaration of war. Hard to imagine a more influential set. If he does follow through, I would interpret him as thinking the deep state was behind the assassination attempts, and that he is at total war with them. Which makes me think his first shot we would have to knock them on their heels, something like declassifying/unsealing the files on the the JFK assassination. That would be such a big shot that it would sow chaos in their ranks, and then freeing Ross could be done as a second shot.
