So the fence thing is low resolution thinking. First, it is not accurate at all, the fences are plentiful, those bypassing the fence are not doing it just like that, but against policy and intended purpose of bitcoin (moving utxos around) and it disregards the iatrogenics of dismantling the Chesterton's Fence (nomen omen). Doors in my home can be bypassed through windows. The fact that it is possible, doesn't mean I lose nothing if I remove the door. All this has been hashed out during the course of last 2 years. If someone pulls this crap now is uninformed at the very least.
