Thoughts on OP_RETURN A road was designed for cars, trucks etc Sure planes and boasts may be able to go down the road But should we allow that? Idiots will say …. “sure it has wheels, you can’t censor transportation if it has wheels it can travel down the road” Stupid mf’ers

Then create better filters, don’t remove them entirely 🤷‍♂️ What am I missing?
So the fence thing is low resolution thinking. First, it is not accurate at all, the fences are plentiful, those bypassing the fence are not doing it just like that, but against policy and intended purpose of bitcoin (moving utxos around) and it disregards the iatrogenics of dismantling the Chesterton's Fence (nomen omen). Doors in my home can be bypassed through windows. The fact that it is possible, doesn't mean I lose nothing if I remove the door. All this has been hashed out during the course of last 2 years. If someone pulls this crap now is uninformed at the very least. image

It's hard to disagree with your arguments. I'm literally on the fence with this topic, 50/50. What's more fascinating about this for me is to look at it from the angle of psychology and applied statistics. I would like to have longer discussion with you about this, hope the time will give us this opportunity. Last but not least, hopefully this could be food for thought for you, given the example you gave. The question I can't answer myself: What encourages a thief to rob a house more? An open door or bars on the windows?
