Methods to obtain privacy in Bitcoin: - Joinmarket (decentralized Coinjoin). - Payments with Lightning (payments through routing are totally anonymous, good method for example to put bitcoins coming from coinjoins in exchanges, you must open a private channel with a good node and through this route to the exchange). - Liquid Pegouts with sideswap (it is like a swap and you break traceability) - Bolts (swaps between chains and you also lose traceability) - Joinstr (Coinjoin through Nostr, soon to be released on the mainnet). - Mercury Layer (Coinswaps, soon to be released as well). - Bitcoin Teleport (decentralized Coinswaps with an architecture of makers and takers similar to joinmarket).

Some more affordable no KYC sats would be good… Bisq rarely has sub $500 offers. I’m not installing Peach with all those identifiers on the app.

BTCPay Server, Trezor, and Wasabi Wallet have incredible privacy by using the WabiSabi coinjoin protocol. It's decentralized by using Nostr for coordinator discovery.

Question about Mercury layer if anybody knows. The "state chain entity" that facilitates the transactions, is this an organization or can it be anybody? Just figured if its left up to some company they will go down pretty quickly too.
Sideshift is a great option too. Wallet to wallet swaps to break traceability. If you absolutely need to use an exchange, buy USDT and the use sideshift to swap for L-BTC to another wallet or BTC too. Don't buy Bitcoin directly
