The primary way I use Tailscale is to connect to my Umbrel from my other devices when I am away from home. Having Nostr VPN packaged for Umbrel would be incredible.

I don’t know if “private home networks” like Umbrel are private at all. They still don’t offer HTTPS and you can’t use it with VPN unless you do it at the router level. I do think an open source alternative to Tailscale is an improvement, but we need an alternative to Umbrel other than Start9.

Https is gaslighting most private home networks have e2ee by defauly, you dont need https infact i wish https would just go back to the security hell it came from.
