You don't understand propaganda if you think you're immune to it. The dumb people continue their exposure thinking their rational facilities will make them immune. "I read the New York Times because I want to know what my opponents are thinking!" The smart people decrease their exposure and don't engage in the framing.

100% We're constantly being programmed. For bad or for good. Limits and critical thinking are of the utmost importance.
The only natural thing to do is to detach from TVs, newspapers and internet-based media streams. Fuck those propaganda agencies, all of them, from left to right, from communists to Alt-Rights, from anarchists to statists. The only news you should care about are about your family.
Disagree.

There may be times to take a peak, but I agree whole-heartedly that if you regularly read/watch the indoctrination, it will have a detrimental effect on you. Fill your mind with truth.

Same argument could be said from the other side. “Don’t engage in the side of those extreme Bitcoiner’s, Putin lovers, Palestine huggers and/or right wingers or you’ll become like them!” Agree to lowering your exposure to what you feel is wrong. But to be intelligent, you have to expose yourself to both enough to get a definition of right and wrong.
