We shouldn't have had to do this, although as I pointed out in the past part of the reason is the lack of more sour crude here in America (hence the recent diesel and jet fuel crisis being much worse than regular fuel at the gas pump). It is mainly a slap in the face to the EU, but they have always hated Trump anyway, and he has always been friendlier to Putin and the Russian Federation than most mainstream US figures. Rightly so in my opinion. I don't think the USA should be on a war footing with Russia and all the people who think we should are those I regard as enemies.

I'm in this annoying situation where everyone in my current social circles still travels to that damned place and thinks it's a flex - especially for girls. And of course they're probably going there to get railed away from prying eyes. But the whole thing is just cringe.
