Another update: the power company sucks. Now it will be some time around 11:30pm when I have power again. It's 84f in my house rn. The electricians were great.

An update: the power company said we have to call an electrician. Called an electrician. They showed up and left again without telling me they were leaving. I still have no power. It's 81f in my house rn. I'm assuming they're coming back because they left their tools. #itssweatyinthemaflingodamnithouse View quoted note →

If it makes you feel any better, I have also dealt with this in August. Like literally looks almost like the same picture I took when my meter got ripped out of the wall. My electrical lines were live, and hanging one inch off of the wet ground. Couldn’t even have the dogs poop in the yard. Took 5 days for the power company to finally do something. And just last week, had all three of my AC Units go out. Had to sleep one night with the air off, and I thought my wife might murder me before I woke 🤣
Thankfully we haven't had rain in about 8000 years here. I couldn't imagine spending the night with no ac here either. We were definitely planning on heading to a hotel if it was going to be any later than it ended up being.
