If you intentionally go out looking for problems and drama, you’ll surely find them. If you instead focus on constructive stuff, then some problems and drama will still find you because life is life, but usually way less.

You reap what you sow, ofc the weeds will still grow. But less so if you don’t nurture them.
Reminds me the lyrics from the Metallica song “Slither”. “Don’t go looking for snakes, you might find them. Don’t turn you eyes to the sun, you might blind them”
I regularly invite drama out of my life. I have way less now. Like you eluded, shit happens, but it’s no longer a flow. Plus, like the hobos of old marked inhospitable houses in hobo code, it seems the drama sources communicate that their time is wasted on you and they just move to other, more receptive, people.
You can’t avoid having problems but you can get better ones. I call these “Quality Problems”.
