Today's reflections on hardship and gratitude from a Christian's perspective...
--------
Joy isn’t found in avoiding hardship but in treasuring Christ above all.
Gratitude deepens when we see every gift as pointing back to the Giver.
Psalm 16:11 — “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy.”
--------
Every earthly longing is a shadow pointing us toward our true home.
Gratitude grows as we see unmet desires not as failures, but as reminders that heaven is real.
Hebrews 11:16 — “They desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one.”

is this your way of saying bitcoin price has got you down and you need to adjust your 450k call down?
Well said Dr Jeff, great reminder of our ultimate North Star and focus on living a faithful life.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
Sometimes I get so caught up in my excitement for #bitcoin but this is our true end game

Well said Dr Jeff, too often we need to be reminded of this.
“These are a shadow of things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ (2:17)…”Set your minds on things above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory” Col 3:2-4
