Characterising non-contributing users who express earnestly held opinions as enraging will exacerbate the star-chamber conundrum, by polarising and adding distance.
Many such users have dedicated a significant part of their lives to the mission of freedom money, even if merely encouraging adoption; and it's not as though their concerns are entirely without merit. The strength of opinion is often because they care so deeply.
